Needle Felted Cactus with Hearts
Learn how to use a barbed needle to sculpt wool into a soft and fuzzy cactus with heart-shaped flower adornments when done, and "plant" it in a mini terra-cotta pot!For ages 12 and up.Registration is required.This program is supported by a grant from the Mattapoisett Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Literary Society Book Club is a monthly book club for emerging adults and young professionals (20+) in Mattapoisett and surrounding communities to discuss what they’re reading and what others are enjoying. Attendees are encouraged to participate at their leisure, with no strict requirements, commitments, or pressure.

TAB members can also earn: volunteer hours for their service, valuable work experience, and recommendation letters, if they serve an appropriate amount of time.Come share your ideas and help improve our library services!

Join Storytellers Karen Chace and Andrea Lovett for a 90-minute public speaking workshop that is both fun and friendly. There will be interactive exercises, real talk, and skills you'll use immediately. Did you know April is “Financial Literacy Month”? On Saturday, April 4th, at 1 PM, First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union will be here with an Economic Empowerment Hour! This is an excellent opportunity for teens aged 12 to 18 to learn essential skills like budgeting, saving, and understanding credit. No need to register—just swing by for some expert advice to kick off your financial journey!
